Hi families!
Here is a page full of homework! We know that short bursts of practice in a variety of settings is shown to improve progress towards speech and language goals- but here's the catch! Speech homework is optional, with prizes for days practiced, and activities last no longer than 5 minutes each! These homework activities are designed for Elementary students but 6-8th grade students may absolutely participate if they wish.
Speech homework comes in the form of a calendar- each month I will send a calendar home with short suggested activities for each day and some bonus days! Please aim to practice with your child for at least 5 minutes, 3 days per week.
Please practice a maximum of 2 activities per day- increased frequency is more beneficial!
Cross off, star, or color in days that you and your child completes a daily activity! At the end of the month, send the calendar back to school and your child will earn a reward for every 10 days they practiced!
If you have any questions about the homework, please feel free to contact me! Have fun learning!
Scroll down to find the appropriate homework calendar for your child's goals.
If your child is working on sounds, use the Articulation calendar. If your child is working on expressive or receptive language, use the Language calendar. If your child is working on pragmatic language or social skills, use the Pragmatic Language calendar. If your child is working on fluency/stuttering, use the Fluency calendar.
